| From the first years of the
ECTA through 2005, the rules allowed any vehicle to run up in engine
size (as is still acceptable today) and/or vehicle class. Under
those rules, the following records were legally set. We want to
recognize these records and drivers' accomplishments in setting
them. In 2008, the decision was made to retire these records and
open the classes back up for individuals to run vehicles properly
constructed to meet the vehicle class requirements. |
