I wanted to drop a note to thank all four of you [ed.:Keith, Joe, Tonya and Donna] directly. I had a great time at your event and felt very welcomed. Maxton is an awesome experience! I love the atmosphere that the four of you create for the racers, crew and spectators. I have been sharing my positive Maxton experience with everyone that will listen. I hope to see all of you soon, possibly in September. Thanks again!
P.S. It was an honor to be presented my “Hat trick” by an “Ace”.

September was my 1st time at Maxton and I must say that I had a great experience. I was trying to get everything done at the last minute and Tonya and Donna bent over backwards to help me through the process. Once I arrived at Maxton I found a group of people that were willing to help you in anyway they could. Todd and Debbie got me through the inspection process with as little pain as possible. Other riders were very willing to give you tips on how to run faster. Saturday and Sunday were very hot days and everyone at the starting area worked tirelessly to get you as many runs as possible. I have road raced for 20 years and never did I find a group as open and willing to help as I did at Maxton. I’m hooked and will be a regular from now on. I thank all of you for helping a first timer out, and just running a class organization. The only negative of the entire weekend was noticing some of the regulars complaining about what an inspector had to say at tech. Those guys are volunteering to do that job, and are only out to make sure we are safe. While you may not always agree with them, they are working for free, and looking out for us. I know how under appreciated they are having did some time as a inspector at some WERA roadracing events. Treat them with respect and appreciate the thankless job they do. let them and all of the volunteers know how much you appreciate them. Without them we don’t race. See you all Oct 20-21st.

I just wanted to share with you what a great time I had at my first event with the club in May. I drove my 84 vette from Kensington Md. I stayed at local hotel, which was recommended by the club (Pine Acres). I arrived at the track and never had a bad moment. Everyone was very helpful, informative and friendly. I felt that everything was run very professionally. I made so many new friends and acquaintances. I look forward to coming back to the track. I have been looking for somewhere to race my car for years since I gave up drag racing. This is the ticket for me and anyone else that wants to race in a controlled environment that is safe.
I also wanted to share that I felt everyone that works for ecta worked very hard, kept it rolling all weekend and you all know how to do it just right. Thank you for all your hard work and effort.

I would like to congratulate everyone at the March 07 Maxton Mile event. We ventured across the United States from Las Vegas, Nevada in an attempt to set records in our 1.0 L Chevy Sprint Turbo. We managed to set two records and had the clutch start slipping during our attempt at record #3. Despite the clutch mishap, the event for us was a huge success, namely because everyone present, including racers, workers and organizers went well out of their way to make us welcome. Having run at Bonneville, El Mirage and many SCCA and NASA events, this isn’t always the case. It was like this event was run by a bunch of racers — always good. Thanks again and we are making the necessary modifications to improve on our previous performance and hope to take another trip back to the Maxton Mile. You guys have a great organization and a great event.
